Q: What should I wear to church?

A: Wear whatever you please. Some people like to dress up; other don't. We welcome those in dresses, three piece suits, jeans and shorts.

Q: What is the worship style at South Side?

A: A style is most often described by the music that is used. Our music is primarily contemporary and we use a praise team and a variety of musical instruments. We also sing familiar hymns when they enhance the worship theme of the morning. We seek to honor God by worshiping in spirit and in the truth.

Q: Are children welcome at your services?

A: We have a nursery, tot and children's church facilities available during most morning worship services. We realize that often parents prefer to keep their infants with them until a certain age and we welcome their presence in the morning worship service.

Q: How can I become involved in ministry?

A: A Christian is called to serve and therefore we encourage all our members to be involved in some area of ministry. That areas is determined by what you enjoy doing and are good at. The best way to determine your area of ministry is to take the S.H.A.P.E. test to discover how God has wired you. Your spiritual gifts, passion, abilities, personality and experiences have all shaped you and will help determine your place in ministry.
